About us
ProPapilla Association was founded in 2006 in Bari by Nicola Campanile, the current chairman. His love for food and wine became subjects of study in 2001. Author and editor of “Dolce Guida – enogastronomic routes in Apulia, Basilicata and surroundings”- as well as “Radici – the festival of native wines”, Nicola Campanile also works in the field of enogastronomic tourism with his innovative approach, basing his projects on experience, passion and knowledge of local identities.
ProPapilla is the result of this approach whose aim is the rediscovery and the revival of the oenological and gastronomic culture belonging to our land, through training courses, tasting, competitions, festivals and meetings.
Thanks to its innovativeness, ProPapilla Association has increasing responsibilities for making wine sector more competitive looking for new initiatives, as well as for developing every kind of enogastronomy related subject in Apulia.
Enzo Scivetti, he started his career as a restaurateur before getting interested in training and communication in the enogastronomic field. He’s a wine and distillate taster working for several guides and magazines as well as a skilled teacher and trainer for AIS, ONAV, ADID and ALMA. He’s the author of the magazine “Messaggi in Bottiglia” and a contributing editor of “Winesurf”.
